Safeshore Counselling

About Me

My name is Sue Bonwick and I am an Integrative Counsellor, registered with the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy.

I began my counselling training in 2011 and qualified with an Advanced Diploma in Integrative Counselling, becoming a BACP Registered Counsellor.  I have been a counsellor for eleven years and during that time have worked therapeutically with people from all walks of life, coming to counselling for many different reasons.   Working integratively means that I work across a number of modalities. I choose to work in this way as I can work flexibly with you to find the way for us to work together that suits you best.
I undertake regular continuing professional development (CPD) and have advanced my professional and academic study to achieve an MSc in Psychotherapy Studies.

I specialise in working with clients with chronic autoimmune disease and other and long term health conditions. I offer sessions online as this provides more flexibility for you when managing the complex daily balance that comes with living with long term health issue.
I can also offer a deeper understanding and lived experience in this area as I also live with a long term health condition.  Although we all travel our own path,  I can offer empathy and understanding of the daily challenges you will experience and offer a warm and non-judgemental space for exploration of your self and your world.
