• From your initial contact email, we retain your name, contact information, e.g email or telephone number. If you decide not to continue with counselling sessions after your initial enquiry, all information that you provide is deleted from electronic devices, server and backup.
How we get the personal information and why we have it
Most of the personal information we process is provided to us directly by you for the following reasons:
• To contact you to provide further information about counselling and psychotherapy sessions
We use the information that you have provided in order to contact you to make appointments and to provide you with any information you have requested. You pay for your counselling sessions via Paypal, who have their own privacy policy and information on their website. We do not share your data with anyone else unless you ask us to.
Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the lawful bases we rely on for processing this information are:
(a) Your consent. You are able to remove your consent at any time. You can do this by contacting Susan Bonwick at info@safeshorecounselling.uk
b) Our performance of a contract with you, because you have consented to our use of your personal data in order to provide you with a service.
